Witch hazel is not expensive at all. Witch hazel can actually be used as an astringent, which can easily dry up your zits. Zits are merely products of too much oil build-up. Witch hazel has certain properties that fight the build-up of oil very easily.
Many skin care products are used as a measure to prevent acne; products like skin cleansers and toners fall into this category. There are acne spot care products that are more specialized in there approach; they ensure the facial pores (and other areas) remain free of oil. Other skin care treatments can help exfoliate the skin; there is now a variety of this type of product available over the counter. These work towards removing dead skin cells, reducing the possibility of pore-clogging and bacteria development. It might just be a case of trial and error to find an acne skin care product that works; however, if finding an effective remedy it is proving to be a problem then consult with your doctor, or skin care specialist.

If you have puffy eyes, there are several home remedies for puffy eyes that you can try to help you get rid of them. Protect your skin, your health and the planet by using ecologically sensible and non-toxic products. Parabens: Ethyl, Methyl, Propyl and Butyl Paraben.
These are collectively called parabens and their purpose in cosmetics is to give the products a long shelf life at department stores. Studies have shown parabens to cause skin irritation and they are also linked to breast cancer. Many beauty products contain these ingredients under sneaky acronyms like DBP, DEP, DEHP, BBzP and DMP. Other toxic ingredients that make their way into cosmetic products include lead and petrolatum.
Read labels carefully, and if you have a vexing skin condition, try organic or natural remedies. Be an educated consumer. Of course sometimes puffy eyes are just a result of the natural aging process. A good under eye cream or gel could be a solution to your problem of having puffiness under your eyes. It’s best to learn more about the right working ingredients inside skin creams to be sure to know what under eye cream is worth purchasing.

The gold rush is on! No, not the California gold rush, silly. This is the skin care gold rush! Gold is among its all time highs in price. Why is gold used in skin care products all of a sudden, you ask? Dating back to Chinese medicine, gold has been used in situations like using gold massage rollers on faces in royalty. Gold maintains anti-inflammatory properties. Many people just put skin care cream on their face , thinking it is going to make it soft and smooth. Skin cream on the skin feels soft and smooth, but if you want your skin to benefit from that cream, you need to dampen your skin first then add the cream. The cream will help retain the moisture in the skin. Keep your skin clean. Do not scrub your face. The face does not need scrubbing. You can actually not use soap on your face at all, especially if you have dry skin.

There are 2 choices when it comes to skin care… as I see it. A good quality skin cream is reasonably inexpensive and only takes minutes to apply.
Up until a few months ago I had never used a skin care cream in earnest. I think I even have wrinkles on wrinkles!
Wrinkles and fine lines are formed when our skin is not properly hydrated both externally and internally. In order to find the best skin creams, you need to look for moisturizing agents in your product. This is particularly required if you are following an anti-aging skin care routine.
Some skin care products also contain collagen as a topical treatment, but you should remember that collagen if applied directly to the skin is not very effective at all. The best skin creams are therefore the ones that contain natural and effective substances as active ingredients.

Acne is a very common skin condition, affecting women and men of all ages. Although a serious problem, few people suffering from Acne Vulgaris seek medical advice. Usually they either try to fight acne with traditional means, such as well-known cosmetic creams (Pro Active, PhytoMe Acne Gel,DDF BP Gel 5% with Tea Tree Oil) and home remedies, or don’t do anything, waiting for the pimples to disappear in time. Unfortunately severe acne leaves scars and it is very unpleasant especially for older people, because in old ages the skin cures slower after acne outbreaks. Some home remedies work pretty well. For example a mask made of oatmeal mixed with water works wonders on problem skin. If you enjoy eating oranges, don’t waste the peel. A concentrated basil tea is an excellent tonic for problem skin. You must start avoiding acne-causing foods if you are genetically predisposed to have acne (which we are).

Scalp psoriasis can be mild, with fine scaling or thick with crusted plaques, covering the entire scalp. Scalp psoriasis is a common form of psoriasis affecting over 50% of patients. Treatments for scalp psoriasis are generally temporarily effective and continued over a long period. Certain shampoo treatments control the spread of eczema and psoriasis. Topical medications like corticosteriods are effective against scalp psoriasis. In cases of mild scalp psoriasis, doctors inject the scalp lesions with steroid medications. Systemic medications or prescription medications are administered to patients with moderate to severe scalp psoriasis. The most common scalp psoriasis treatment includes coal tar shampoos, sprays and applications like Dermovate Scalp or a combination of the above. This leads us to search for natural scalp psoriasis treatment.

What is acne? Acne does however begin at puberty in most cases. Approximately 75% of teenagers will have acne to some degree.
Hormonal changes stimulate the oil producing skin glands causing them to become plugged by excessive skin and oil cells trying to exit. These glands are situated within the pores of the skin around hair follicles. Pimples are the next step. How can acne be treated? What other methods are there to reduce acne? Washing the skin regularly with warm water to reduce dirt, oil and to remove make-up will help. You can’t prevent acne but you can manage and improve the condition with medication and gentle care and regular cleansing of the skin.
